Additional information

This is an example of settings used by Vox in a Box when a rough mix is sent across for approval.  I'm sure you'll want to do your own production and mixing, so individual raw tracks will be sent across after final payment is received.

  • Backing vocals and whisper vocals are mixed roughly 8dB below lead vocals
  • Lead vocals are mixed to the centre
  • Stereo vocals (i.e., tracks marked with an 'L' or an 'R') are mixed 30% left and 30% right respectively

Questions?

If you have further questions, please email info@voxinabox.com.  I'm also happy to recommend recording studios, mix engineers and/or mastering engineers that I've worked with in the past and that do great work.
