What's Vox in a Box?

Vox in a Box is a way for you to get high-quality session vocals for your audio recordings without having to pay for expensive studio time. 

The quality of the lead vocals or backing-harmonies can make or break your track.  Now you can have professional vocals just like you want without any of the hassles of hiring and coordinating a studio and vocalist.

What do I need to provide?

Email or post sheet music or a track with guide vocals and a lyrics sheet.  I'll record your vocals for you.  We'll then discuss any amendments or changes and I'll add or change what we discuss.

How long does it take?

If sheet music or guide vocals are provided, the whole process will take less than 10 days.  I'm also happy to work within any reasonable deadlines that you may have.

How do you record your vocals?

I use Logic Express, a FocusRite Saffire and a Neumann large-diaphragm condenser microphone to record my vocals in a sound-treated room.  Vocals are then provided to you raw as .wav files.

Who owns the copyright?

You pay me one fee and you then own the copyright to the vocals that I record.  We will sign a simple contract to make sure you legally remain the copyright owner.
